大熱天打什麼鐵

今年暑假找的工作不太喜歡。

苗栗的某工業區裡面的某大企業集團的鐵工廠，媽的熱死了。

鐵皮屋+銲槍+夭壽大顆的太陽=一個不斷剛補充水分卻又眼睜睜看著它們滾滾長江東逝水的笨蛋中文系大學生。

這年頭真的什麼都變了。

扛著重死人的鋼管包鋼筋走在廠區，我開始幻想我是個身上綁著炸彈的小小炸彈客。

搞什麼鬼。一個有學養有風度有內涵有坐在辦公室吹冷氣的潛質的大學生居然在3x度C的柏油路上扛著鋼管包鋼筋在走，跟一個有夢想卻沒有童年被迫綁著炸彈去跟美國阿兵哥說聲葛格你好然後自爆的伊拉克小底迪差不多口憐。

去年暑假雖然也是在差不多熱的油漆工廠上班，同事也差不多都是老頭，但是好歹去年有個漂亮的會計姊姊可以虧啊。今年咧！？我到了工廠我只能不斷的說叔叔好伯伯好老闆好。天知道我有多想有個人可以讓我說句姐姐好啊！

不過，其實我沒那麼討厭我的老人同事啦...或者該說我沒資格討厭他們。因為他們真的是很厲害。

當我看著一個只有小學學歷的6x歲老人按著工程計算機俐落的用三角函數算出等等工程要用的鋼材量，我深深的為我高中三年虛度的數學課感到悲哀。

當我看著一個比我還矮一個頭的中年男子用比蜘蛛人還俐落的手法沿著牆壁的管線爬上了4層樓高的地方而且還沒有綁安全繩，我真的覺得根本不用花錢學攀岩了。

真的很厲害。

但也很不爽。

自以為多做了幾年就擺臭臉，天殺的我剛來做這種工作沒幾天耶。

我怎麼知道你嘴裡說的工具名稱哪個是哪個，我哪知道你說的彎頭6英吋跟8英吋要怎麼做沒幾天就可以看出來哪個是哪個，我怎麼知道我怎麼知道我怎麼知道我怎麼知道我怎麼知道我怎麼知道我怎麼知道！！

算了，一天一千六的薪水就不計較那麼多了。

有人說錢很多，但是真的去做就知道，那根本是拿命在換錢。

高溫、易揮發的化學物質、焊接的超強閃光。一下就把身體搞壞了。

高溫就不用說了，熱！最低溫３０度Ｃ是怎樣？乾脆叫我去微波爐打工算了。

塑膠油、塑膠漆、焊鋅棒的氣味全都是可以毒死人的東西，真佩服吸這些東西四十年的阿輝伯。

閃光…平常被某二組人馬閃就算了，連來這邊也有得閃。而且這種閃光真他ｘ的痛。眼睛一整個受不了。以前常去網咖的人大概看過，有灌ｃｓ的電腦，液晶螢幕中間通常都會有白目國中生在上面用原子筆戳個小點當作狙擊槍的準心，現在同樣的情況在我的眼睛上重現了。靠腰我又不拿狙擊槍你幹嘛幫我的視網膜畫準心啦！畫準心就算了還畫歪！硍！眼睛閉起來都可以看到有個亮點在那邊…痛死了。

其他還有一堆可以減短我壽命的東西，懶得說了，我只覺得這間鐵工廠根本就是殺人兵工廠。

明年暑假，當米蟲好了。學型男秀爺騎噗噗環島好像不錯。

這首歌在當初創作之時就已經確定會以單曲形式發行，因此撰寫時特別注意歌詞在人性議題上的琢磨，是首排行榜架式十足的單曲。
當我拿到這張專輯並且第一次聽完整張後，我發現我最愛這首。不為什麼，就因為Chester很有靈性的聲音，還有歌詞裡無法言喻的感情。
這首歌也是在這張專輯裡我聽過最多遍的一首，在iTunes裡面顯示的播放次數已經到了500次了= =
