無知即力量

這是歐威爾的《1984》裡面的「黨」提出的三個口號之一。

三個口號分別是：戰爭即和平、自由即奴役、無知即力量。

矛盾且令人發笑的口號，一旦實現在這個現實世界，想必是一種浩劫。

今天上課，我就體驗到這種感受。

看得懂嗎？看不懂沒關係，簡單的說就是：

新加坡執政黨公然買票賄選，買票的錢還是從人民身上黑來的。

聽到一個自詡為高級知識份子的人對這件事完全不加以思索便相信媒體報導，以為新加坡政府佛心來的年終分紅，還在課堂上說著似是而非的威權／民主論調，我真的不知道該笑還是該從他頭上巴下去。

我第一次因為有人的無知而感到如此憤怒。無知就算了，不要把自己的無知傳染給別人。要做這種事之前，請想想自己的身分。

你的身分不容許你散播你的無知。

要當個「高級」知識份子，請學會驗證，請學會批判，請學會思考，請學會懷疑。

做不到，就把嘴巴閉緊點。

慓悍

一種在血液裡蟄伏數個世代的基因。

也許是種劣根性，無論如何改造都無法根除。

但也沒有必要，因為以之寫成的文字，皆令人動容。
